Tyburn hail from London and will be releasing a new split 7” with Moat (ex Frightener/Abandon Ship) on Hemlock 13 in the not too distant future.

Counting former members of UKHC stalwarts xCanaanx and HHH among their number, these two new songs demonstrate a vicious evolution from their earlier demo.

Tyburn channel the righteous disgust and visceral spirit of bands like Left For Dead, Earthmover and Haymaker. This is seething metallic hardcore like your cooler, older brother was in to. If you can remember when bands had more songs than merch designs, and shirts ONLY came in XL…this is for you.

The new record is actually a banger as well.

My painting backlog. Inside the white boz is a diecast bjorn the fellhanded. I have to say it totally fucking blows. Aswell as being unused to diecasts the quality (and price) is shite. Im going to order the forgeworld version, which is way cooler soon. Allthough its quite a back log of painting giving some thought to picking up a battle force this week. Thatll give me even more to do.

Grey Hunters im working on. Still needing the shoulder plates putting on em. But gettign there. I liked the idea of putting gold highlights on. My reasoning is that the Nordic influence on them and the old beliefs that when a warrior went to battle they went in splendour to “show off” literally dressed up for the kill to mark their status and purpose. The regality of war as such.

Nice. Loving the Wolf helmets, I need to look at the Space Wolves more as all of the fur looks dope.

2006 was one of my favourite summers, bands, chilling, BBQ and promise…I cherish those days. It’s like things have gone full circle, back in my bands, more chilling and the start of things to come…this photo puts a huge smile on my face.
